If this ends

IN FORCEWritten 2026-08-26

What happens to your campaign if LeagueKit shuts down, in advance and in writing.

Why this page exists

LeagueKit is built and run by one person. You should weigh that before trusting it with two years of campaign notes, and this page exists so you can weigh it against commitments rather than hope. Campaign tools have shut down with no warning and no way out before; this one states its ending in advance.

Ninety days of notice

If the product is to shut down, the decision is announced at least ninety days before anything stops working - on this site, in the changelog, and by email to every account. Not on a social platform, not in a community server: to the address you signed in with.

The export window

For the whole notice period, every campaign remains exportable as Markdown and as JSON - the same export that is on the free plan today, so this promise costs nothing new to keep and you can test it right now rather than trusting it.

During the notice period nothing is deleted and no campaign goes read only. The product ends running, not limping.

After the end

When the service stops, the databases and the uploaded files are deleted - permanently, including backups as they age out. Your material does not get sold with anything, transferred to anybody, or kept "just in case". The only copy that survives is the one you exported.

This is separate from lapsing

A lapsed subscription is not an ending: it makes a campaign read only and exportable, and deletes nothing. This page is about the product itself ending, which is a different and rarer thing.
