Terms

IN FORCEWritten 2026-08-26

The terms on which LeagueKit may be used, and what is promised in return.

The state of the product

LeagueKit is in early access. Anyone can sign in and start a campaign on the free plan; the paid plan cannot yet be bought, and the feature list on the pricing page states plainly which capabilities have run against the live database and which are only written. These terms are in force for everything the product actually does today.

Your material is yours

You keep every right in what you write. No licence to publish, sub-licence, or train on your material is claimed, taken, or implied.

The only licence taken is the narrow one needed to run the service: to store your material, and to show it to the people you have shown it to.

Accounts and tables

A campaign has one owner, and the owner controls who is seated at it. Removing a member removes their access immediately.

You are responsible for what your table writes. Do not put material in a campaign that you do not have the right to hold.

Game rules content

The only rules material shipped with the product is SRD 5.2.1, under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence and with its attribution shown. Nothing is extracted from a published book.

Anything you add yourself, in the campaign rulebook or by import, is private to your campaign and is not redistributed.

Payment

There is no payment mechanism connected to this product today. Prices shown on the pricing page are indicative and are labelled as such.

When there is one: the person who runs the game pays, players never do, and a lapsed subscription makes a campaign read only rather than deleting it.

Ending it

You can stop at any time and take an export with you.

Access can be ended by us for abuse, for illegal material, or for attempts to break the redaction of somebody else's campaign. In every other case you will be given notice and the chance to export.

What you may not put here

A campaign is private by construction, and that is not permission to use it as storage for anything you like. Material that is illegal where you are or where the service runs, material that sexualises a child, and material published to harass a real person are all out, and being concealed from the rest of your table does not change that.

Do not attempt to read another campaign's material, to defeat the concealment on your own table, or to automate against the service in a way that degrades it for other people. Probing the redaction is the one thing here that ends access immediately rather than with notice.

You keep the copyright in what you write. Where you put somebody else's material into a campaign - a passage from a book you own, a map you commissioned, an image - you are stating that you have the right to hold it there. It is not redistributed: it is readable by the people seated at your table and by nobody else, it is never copied into anything shipped with the product, and it does not travel between campaigns, including your own.

Notices, and the law this is read under

Formal notice to us is served at 8 Morriston Street, North Perth WA 6006, Australia. Notice to you is served at the address your seat was invited at, or the address on your account.

These terms are read under the laws of Queensland, Australia.

If a court finds one clause unenforceable, the rest still stands.

What is not promised

While the product is in build it is provided as it is, with no availability commitment and no warranty. Keep your own backups.
