Players
Everybody who is not running the game
Free
Never pay, never asked
Free, permanently, with no seat count and no feature difference. This is not a trial.
Players never do, and are never asked. A per-seat price on a hobby where one person already buys the books is a tax on inviting a sixth person, and the sixth person is exactly who a fortnightly game needs.
! INDICATIVE, NOT CHARGEABLE
There is no payment processor connected to this product, no card field anywhere in it, and no account to attach a subscription to. The amounts below are in USD and are shown so the structure can be judged. Nothing here can be bought, and no price is committed to until it appears in the changelog.
§ 01 · Plans
The players column is here because it is the most important line on the page and hiding it in a footnote would be the wrong emphasis.

Two campaigns, to see whether this fits how you run a game
Free
Two campaigns, all four layers, no player cap
Not time limited, and no cap on the number of players at your table. Export is included, because a free plan you cannot leave is a trap.
The person who runs the game, once it is the tool you actually use
USD 5per month, or USD 48 per year
Unlimited campaigns and worlds
One subscription covers every campaign, every world and every player. Not one per campaign.
§ 02 · What you are charged for
Most tools in this category charge for a campaign. This one charges for a person, and the difference only shows up once you are running more than one game.
A DM with one campaign pays about the same either way, and that is the honest version of this table: at one campaign there is no argument here.
The second campaign is where it separates. Starting a new game should not be a purchasing decision, and archiving an old one to afford the new one is a thing tools should not make people do.
Worlds work the same way. A setting shared across three campaigns is one world, not three, and it is not billed three times.
Compared against Chronica's Knight tier at its published rate on 2026-08-25, because it is the closest tier on price. Their free plan carries unlimited campaigns and caps the table at eight players; ours carries two campaigns and caps nothing.
§ 03 · Commitments
These are the ones that decide whether somebody trusts a pre-launch product with two years of campaign notes.
§ 04 · Comparison
Wide on a desk, and one stack per plan on a phone, because a three-column comparison at 360px is three columns of abbreviations rather than a comparison.

§ 05 · The honest feature list
A line is marked RUNNING only once it has been checked against the live database, not because the code exists. The key is printed above the register rather than hidden underneath it.
| Layer | Feature | What it does | State |
|---|---|---|---|
| Record | Typed entities | People, places, factions, items, events, and any type you define. | WRITTEN |
| Profile templates | You decide what fields a type carries, so the tool fits your setting rather than the reverse. | WRITTEN | |
| Typed directional relations | Edges carry a type and a direction. Owed-a-debt-by is not the same edge as owes-a-debt-to. | WRITTEN | |
| Force graph | The plot as a picture. Below 768px the same route renders a walk instead. | WRITTEN | |
| Revision history, session stamped | Every change is kept from the very first one, tagged with the session it happened in. | WRITTEN | |
| Search across the Record | Scoped to what the person searching may see. A concealed entity does not appear as a blank hit. | WRITTEN | |
| SRD starter pack | Monster tables by tier, magic finds and generators from SRD 5.2.1 via Open5e, bundled at build time under CC BY 4.0 and installed with one press. Nothing is fetched at runtime. | RUNNING | |
| Import your own documents | Your setting notes, your homebrew, your table handouts. Private to your campaign, never a shipped corpus. | SPECIFIED | |
| Reveal | Seal a whole entity | The entity does not exist for anybody who has not been shown it. | WRITTEN |
| Seal a single field, stat or relation | The row is readable and one value in it is not, without splitting the entity in two. | WRITTEN | |
| Seal a block mid-paragraph | Concealed prose is removed server side and the surrounding text is merged, so there is no gap to notice. | WRITTEN | |
| Reveals are per member | Not per role. One player can know something the other four do not, and the encyclopedia reflects it. | WRITTEN | |
| Redaction happens in the database | Concealed material is stripped in Postgres before it is serialised. It is never sent and hidden with CSS. | WRITTEN | |
| Reveal receipts | Who learned what, when, and whether they have actually read it. | WRITTEN | |
| Preview as a member | Read the campaign exactly as one player sees it, before you turn the laptop around. | WRITTEN | |
| Un-reveal, recorded permanently | You can withdraw a reveal. The line stays, struck through, because you cannot make somebody un-know a thing. | WRITTEN | |
| Warning when you mention a sealed entity | Caught while you are writing, not rendered as a placeholder that tells a player a secret exists. | SPECIFIED | |
| Ledger | Double-entry transactions | Entries sum to zero per asset per transaction, enforced by the database. | WRITTEN |
| Derived balances | No stored total anybody has to remember to update, so nothing can drift. | WRITTEN | |
| Inventory as accounts | Items move between purses, packs, carts and vaults the way money does. | WRITTEN | |
| Shops and stock | A shop is an account with a price list. Buying is one transaction, not two edits. | WRITTEN | |
| Upkeep and recurring costs | Charged on a turn rather than remembered by the person running the game. | SPECIFIED | |
| Your own denominations | Not everybody counts in gold, silver and copper. | WRITTEN | |
| Logistics | Session scheduling with quorum | Propose dates, collect availability, and see whether the session actually goes ahead. | WRITTEN |
| A calendar feed per member | The game appears in the calendar each person already uses. One private URL each. | WRITTEN | |
| Attendance against the session | Which makes "who was there when that came up" answerable two years later. | WRITTEN | |
| Recruiting page for an open seat | One token-scoped public page stating venue, cadence, step-free access, house rules and safety tools. Nothing from the campaign. | WRITTEN | |
| Lines and veils, recorded | The table agrees them once and they stay written down, rather than living in somebody’s memory of session one. | RUNNING | |
| Beyond | Strongholds and facilities | A keep, a ship, a guild hall, with a roster and a turn. | WRITTEN |
| The Interlude | Players submit downtime orders between sessions and the orders resolve into real consequences. | WRITTEN | |
| Favours | Redeemable tokens a player earns and later spends. A spent one stays on screen, struck. | WRITTEN | |
| Maps with regions and pins | Tiled, with regions that can be concealed the same way a paragraph can. | WRITTEN | |
| Character sheets | Read a sheet, do arithmetic on it, and let a stat be concealed from the rest of the table. | WRITTEN | |
| Random tables and generators | Nested, weighted, and rollable at the table without leaving the page. | WRITTEN | |
| Platform | Table Mode | Dark, larger targets, read only. Built so that opening it mid-session is faster than asking. | WRITTEN |
| Works without a signal | Your visible copy is cached on your device, so a basement with no reception is not a broken session. | SPECIFIED | |
| Export everything, any time | Your campaign as Markdown or versioned JSON, readable without us. Available on the free plan, not held behind payment. | RUNNING | |
| Delegated admin | A player can hold maps, quests or shops without becoming a second person who sees every secret. | WRITTEN | |
| Players join by link | One magic link. No password to invent, and no seat to pay for. | RUNNING | |
| Virtual tabletop, tokens, initiative | Not built, and not planned. Bring the tool you already use for the battle map. This is the thing beside it. | DECLINED | |
| Generated lore, generated NPCs | Not built, and not planned. Your campaign is not training data and a world nobody wrote is not worth a wiki. | DECLINED | |
| A feed, or finding other tables | Not built, and not planned. There is exactly one public page and it is the recruiting one. | DECLINED |
§ 06 · Meanwhile
Invited to a table? Your seat is a link from your DM, and opening it is the whole process. Nobody else can open an account from this site yet.
